Here's a little bit about who I am and what I do:

I am an award-winning, on-location, natural light Lifestyle Photographer specializing in Child and Family portraiture with a passion for Fine Art Photography. I graduated from the Hallmark Institute of Photography in 2009 as a certified photographer. Prior to becoming a professional photographer I have spent the majority of the last 13+ years working, and most especially playing, as a preschool teacher. Being knee-deep in paint and play dough is where I love to be! I am currently a Pre-K teacher working in Millinocket, Maine.  Teaching is one of my biggest passions in life, next only to photography.

Driven by my interest in people (and completely overwhelmed by my passion and love of photography) I find portraiture comes naturally. Little faces are my most favorite of all but the uniqueness of each and every one of us keeps me constantly fascinated. I too have an immense love of both the outdoors and the fine arts.

I have earned a B.S. in Mental Health and Human Services from Franciscan University, Steubenville, OH in 2005. And this past August I graduated from The University of Maine with my M.S. degree in Human Development.  I have been blessed with the opportunity to  travel the world from a young age and have had many great adventures along the way.  I am now living and working close to my hometown in rural Maine.

I love the forest, the mountains, and the ocean. Nature draws my soul like nothing else can.  I love life and learning something new every day. There's always more to discover, new ways to grow, more life to live. And I'm thankful for mine. Every day.
