Today, I turn 36 years old. Birthdays are fabulous: full of celebration, life, and love. I've always been a fan. In my family, whether you're turning 1 or 100 years old, you celebrate. People are fantastic, and life is good: even when it isn't. Here's a glimpse of my photo project, UP, which has taken place over the beginning of this past year, from my last birthday on November 20th until the end of June 2012. I started the project for personal inspiration and as a way to capture images of all things UP, for which I am truly thankful and inspired. My goal was to make it through an entire year but as you can see, my last entry is for the month of June. Life happens: crazy, unexpected life. But I am grateful. I wanted to share my perspective over these past months. So often in the day by day of life, the bigger picture gets lost. Growth is good. So's another year of breath. I'm thankful for so much in my life and consider myself to be extremely blessed and surrounded by amazing people that inspire me every day. Here's to another year gone and another year of surprises to come: I'm raising my glass to life, health, and happiness!
